Sex ed goes way beyond the basics of birth control, pregnancy and stis. While I absolutely cover those crucial topics, my approach is rooted in the belief that there is so much more that needs to be included.

Like most queer people, I never saw myself represented in what little sex ed I received growing up.
A huge reason why I got into the field of sexual health education is because I want people of all ages, gender and sexualities to feel represented and included in these important conversations about relationships, health, sex, and their bodies.

Pleasure isn’t a scary word! I strongly believe that we need to be teaching people of all ages that sex is much more than a means to make babies. While many discussions may center around the more clinical aspects of sexual health, I'm here to embrace the joy, comfort, and fulfillment that pleasure brings.

Sex ed often neglects the positive side of the equation, focusing solely on risks and precautions.
But pleasure is a vital part of the human experience. My approach aims to shift the narrative, making pleasure an open and welcomed topic in the conversation about sexual health.

By exploring the diverse dimensions of pleasure, we not only empower individuals to understand and communicate their desires and boundaries, but also foster a healthier and more positive relationship with their own bodies.

With many years experience in youth care work, I strive to approach all of my workshops and events from a trauma informed lens and ultimately meeting young people where they are at. Recognizing the prevalence of past traumas, my commitment is to create a space that prioritizes safety, respect, and understanding.
